Default Description:

Manages Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) network shares. If this service is stopped, DDE network shares will be unavailable. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.

Additional Information:

I have not found a good use for this service. After the installation of Service Pack 2, this service is set from Manual to Disabled by default. Unless you use remote ClipBook, disable it.
